# Licensing

Among Terminal's original code, example plugins and artwork use
[Apache-2.0](https://github.com/Among-Terminal/among/blob/main/LICENSE).
AppStream catalog metadata uses CC0-1.0.

Third-party dependencies retain their own licenses. Rust dependency notices are
preserved in [THIRD_PARTY](https://github.com/Among-Terminal/among/tree/main/THIRD_PARTY)
and [NOTICE](https://github.com/Among-Terminal/among/blob/main/NOTICE).

The application dynamically links native GTK, libadwaita and VTE libraries.
Their LGPL terms are not replaced by the application's Apache license.
Distributors must preserve applicable notices and license texts and satisfy
corresponding-source and library replacement/debugging obligations for the
components they actually ship.
